
The BIG Picture
In October 2006 the Design Council launched the Designing Demand campaign; a campaign to educate and support the UK’s SME’s to exploit design to the full. The programme provides mentoring and support to firms, offering workshops and additional services through national and regional websites.
Universal Pixel won a three way pitch to design and build the Designing Demand national campaign site in addition to nine regional sites.
The Work
The brief considered all aspects of the online experience, including functionality and usability while emphasis was also placed on ensuring the sites were engaging and informative.
We created designs that seamlessly transferred the programme’s brand and creative look onto the web. The framework of the sites was clean and simple with navigation placed in intuitive positions.
The sites are all hosted and driven by our own Digital Management System (Pixel DMS). Pixel DMS allows administrators to manage all aspects of their site as well as administer any number of events and delegates with ease.
