Paul Stratford – Founder and Creative Director

Paul StratfordPaul is Founder and Creative Director of Universal Pixel. Responsible for leading and directing all on and off line creative, he ensures we deliver seamless brand communications that meet business objectives and targets.

Paul learned his trade at Williams Lee as Regional Creative Director before founding Universal Pixel in 2003. Paul has 18 years’ experience working on major brands including Cable & Wireless, John Lewis, BBC, Sesame, Design Council, Bango and Microsoft.

Somewhat of a fitness freak, if Paul is not spending time with his wife and daughter he can be seen tearing up Surrey’s mountain bike routes or surfing the nearest ‘gnarly’ wave.

Dean Corney – Client Service Director

Dean CorneyDean is responsible for the day to day management of the business and ensures the quality of our service and creative output is of the highest standard.

With 9 years’ experience in B2B and B2C client management, Dean became a partner in Universal Pixel in 2003 after spending 5 years working in management roles at OyezStraker.

During his career Dean has worked on projects with major brands such as Bacardi, BBC, Sesame, Sandoz, the Design Council and Microsoft. This experience has given him an insight into ‘big brand’ integrated communications.

His claim to fame was representing Great Britain as a road race cyclist and his favourite pastimes are listening to music (Arcade Fire & Foo Fighters being the current favourites) extremely loudly and watching his son William playing football.

Jon Hall – Digital Media Director

Jon HallAfter working at Universal Pixel for 2 years, Jon became Digital Media Director in 2005. As well as developing websites, applications and graphics for clients, Jon has overseen the development of our bespoke CMS and EMS solutions.

Before working at Universal Pixel, Jon spent 5 years working at leading film production and digital media agency, AVC Productions. During this time Jon worked on films such as Sahara and Batman Begins and oversaw the development of websites and applications for companies such as Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank and UBS Warburg.

In the past 3 years Jon has worked on film graphics for The Omen and Casino Royale and has developed websites and digital communications for the Design Council, JP Morgan and Bango.

Jon was National young environmentalist of the year in1991, now just a mentalist, his latest hobby projects include, amongst other things, starting a Monster Truck racing team.
